Zero Punctuation on DVD?

I'm an avid collector of collecting shows I love on DVD, and sometimes there is no better feeling that kicking back with some food and watching through a box set.

Lately I've been re-watching a lot of Zero Punctuation (the Black Ops episode bummed me out so much I needed to remind myself why I still watch them) and I know it's part of an advertising deal and stuff but having to sit through the 30 second Cataclysm preview for every single video I watch is a little annoying. It's not like I'm gonna see the commercial for the 51st time and go "Hmm...maybe I DO wanna buy it after all"

But then I started thinking what if Zero Punctuation was released on DVD? You could release a set every hundred episodes or so (each one being 4-5 minutes = around 500 mintes = about 8 hours)

Load it up with some bonus features. Yahtzee interviews, the Fable and Darkness videos, a few of those fun extra bits he did like at the end of The Witcher episode or the Silent Hill bit.

Do you think there'd be a market for something like that, and how many of you do you think would but it?

most people won't understand why they would buy it if they can watch it online for free,

Yeah, same here. I hope it would be at an affordable price, and have something, like a ZP sticker sheet or something.

Agreed, I can't argue with that. But then again I'm one of those guys who bought the Strong Bad E-mails Box Set so maybe I'm not the most credible source in matters like this lol

I would totally buy it. I'm a huge fan of bonus features myself, so as long as it's loaded with tons of extras I'd be on it like a fat kid on cake.

I don't really see the point in making a DVD collection out of game reviews. But hey, the AVGN did it, so I guess there's a market for it.

Not a bad Idea. Doraleous and Associates is on DVD. There may be some copyright issues, but you never know...

Well like most DVD box sets containing multiple episodes I imagine it'd be more than one disc.

Generally, depending on season length an hour long show (which are closer to 40 minutes) put 4 on a disc and a half hour show (20 minutes) usually have between 5-7

Which do you all think would be better: 25 episodes on 4 discs with one disc of bonus features or 20 episodes on 5 discs with bonus features just mingled nicely onto each disc.

25 episodes would be about 2 hours or so which would be a fairly understandable length for a standard dvd.

Would definitely be interested in a ZP DVD release, as long as it complete and chronological. Hate those releases with just a bunch of random episodes.

Personally, I'd buy it because I'm a dinosaur. I like tangible copies and the capacity to watch wherever, whenever. And I still end up in a lot of dead spots in rural VT.
