Hey all...

New to posting on the site, but been reading and watching (mostly ZP) for a while now. I know its a little bit in bad taste, but I wrote and performed in a Zombie/Comedy movie that will be showing in my city here in a week, and was wondering what you guys thought of it.

Been doing this acting thing for a bit, so don't spare any criticism. Would love to hear back.

BTW- I am the one with hair...

I liked it. Somewhat cliché, but it's nice to get into rapport with the undead we know and hate. Some of the lines were hilarious, others were a bit laboured.

Pity you couldn't see more detail. Compression is a *****. The static camera got a little boring after a while though, that could use working on. And having more happen especially in a short is important. Long dialogue scenes can weigh down a movie.

Also, something you should try is doing a clip for "Born To Die" Here are the lyrics.

To the tune of I Will Survive.

At first I was afraid, I was scared to take the dive
I clung too hard to everything that kept me half alive.
But then I took, a final gasping breath
And leapt into the cold embrace of death

As I look out, at this cracked and dying land
All my life I tried but now I understand
Without my life, I've found a brand new way to be
And a place, for a necrophiliac tenancy

'Cause I know I, I know that I was born to die
There's no need, for me to stand and lie
I'm gonna be, hunched to one side and proudly cry
I will not hide, for I was born to die

And now I'm grey, but that doesn't bother me
I'm a lurcher, it's how a nurture can't you see

And I can see, written in the sky
Past the bio-hazard poisons and the burning in my eye
There is a plan, a plan for you and I
A plan to set us free. A plan to let us fly

We're gonna bring down the last of the human race
Obliterate the bastards, leave the earth without a trace
Of the life, which once clung to this torn and bloody soil
And create a haven for life beyond the mortal coil

And now there's no-one, to bring me down and ask me why
No-one to keep us apart my dear, and stop us reaching high.
I lie in your slightly fermented arms and it almost makes me cry
For I know we, I know that we were born to die.

Thank you for the critique.

Originally, when I wrote it, it was shot in reverse order with a lot of dialogue-heavy Clerk-like scenes, but during the editing process, the director and I decided to chop the whole thing up, and throw it together all random, Pulp Fiction in a blender style. The whole thing comes in at about 45mins or so. It releases on Nov 1st, and I will let people here know how it went.

I could only watch a tiny bit because of my pitiful internet usage, but from what I saw, I enjoyed it. Nice job!
