Alerted by Bradley's call, Dan looks up just in time to catch the object being thrown to him. Looking down at his hand, he sees an ordinary beer can.
Rolling his eyes, Dan tosses the can back to Bradley. "I don't drink either..."

"well catch is a good way to pass the time too," he smirks at his own joke as he catches the can, "You shouldn't hang back here all on your own," he puts a hand to the side of his mouth and stage whispers, "makes people think your weird or something..." he crushes the first can and drops it to the floor before opening the other and strolling back to where the majority of the people are gathered.
Thinking about what Bradley had said, Dan stayed in his corner for a while longer. Just then, Dane walked up and asked if he wanted to go exploring. Dan sighed. Maybe he should be a more active member of the group. After all, they were all in this together. With this in mind, he stood up and said, "Sure Dane, maybe we'll find something useful!".

Dan considers this for a minute, eventually deciding that, if he was going to open up to people, he may as well start with someone he was at least a little comfortable with.
"Sure, why not? If he wants to come, he can."
Edit: Welcome back Swift, and yeah, the posts are racking up like crazy. Basically, we all got back from our "saving me and getting guns" adventure, and we're currently back in our safe area, doing pretty much nothing. Nobody has died yet.

Bradley eyed up the barricade, after a while he wrenched free a chair that seemed the most comfortable. There was a brief moment of tension as it almost came crashing down onto him, he held his breath, once the swaying stopped he set the chair down and fell asleep into it.
OCC: I'm gonna go to bed, try not to have me overrun with zombies or anything while I'm napping, even if he deserves it

Maeror glances around at the ragtag group.
"I want you all to listen to me. Don't use revolvers, they take too long to reload in combat. If you fire six shots, don't reload. Throw it at them. Keep a sidearm with high magazine capacity and help yourselves to the knives in my bag (minus my trench knives)."
He works himself into a standing position.
"I believe I have the most combat experience of all of you. Don't go out zombie hunting. Stay behind the barricade, leave only for necessities such as food and water. Work in groups of no less than three on each excursion. Listen to me and you'll stay alive. If you want to go out alone and be a hero, I'll give you a gun with one bullet. There are easier ways to kill yourself."

That said, Dan abruptly falls over, fast asleep before he even hits the ground.
OOC: Yeah, sorry man, I didn't realize how late it was, and I don't know how long the "exploring" would take, so I'm gonna have to bail. Maybe Steve will be nice enough to escort you on your "mission".
