A fine invasive drizzle started over Paris, lit up by searchlights probing the evening sky for allied bombers. A coulumn of Nazi soldiers marched past the Arc de Triomphe in the wet dusk, the captain at the front screaming out directions. Lights and sounds isssued from the red light district, indicating that the business of pleasure was still well and truly alive, while masking the activities of furtive individuals moving from building to building. High above it all, a German SS Heerführer[footnote]General[/footnote] stands among the clouds in the cockpit of a Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant cargo plane.
"Land der Ebene. Ich möchte die Ladung auf den Straßen von Dawn."[footnote]Land the plane. I want the cargo out on the streets by dawn.[/footnote] He turns to face the large cage in the middle of the cargo hold, a large construction of iron with nothing but a solitary figure inside. The figure is clothed in little more than rags and looks unwell, with black teeth, thin hair and pale skin. The Heerführer adresses the figure in a voice one would use to adress a lost child.
"Guten Abend Herr Dämon. Wie fühlen Sie sich?[footnote]Good evening Mr demon. How are you feeling?[/footnote] The figure instantly runs the length of the cage, screaming incoherently until it slams into the cast iron bars. It still tries to reach the Heerführer, clawing at the intervening air and snarling like a rabid animal.
"Ah ah ah. Du sollst nicht Fest, bis wir den Boden erreichen. Bis dahin haben eine glückliche Flucht."[footnote]Ah ah ah. You shall not feast until we reach the ground. Until then, have a happy flight.[/footnote]He walks from the cage into the cockpit, and slams the door shut on the ravening creature with a final clang.

It's Zombie Paris. The great city of love ensnared in the grip of Nazi oppression and something much, much worse. You'll have to fight your way through the alleyways of Paris, across its famous boulevards and even up the Eiffel tower, to defeat whoever is behind the necrotic menace.

Backround: An Australian Combat Medic. Was lent to the French in good faith to send more soldiers down to help, since he could already speak french. He has spent 5 years in fighting, after he had finished his medical training, his friend convinced him to join the Army. He was picked in an elite group to go to France to help them out, as Good faith until they could train more soldiers to help them out.
He is stationed in Paris since that is where the least medics were. Si far he has not been in any serious conflicts, and hasn't had to shoot an enemy yet. Being a Medic he was not trained to be so proficient with a weapon, but he manages well enough in theory in the training room
Weapons: Walther PPK and an MP 40. Carries around first aid supplies with him at all times.

Reubens is a well educated and multi-lingual (Dutch, English, French, German and Afrikaans) Dutchman who fled Holland during the invasion and was rescued by the resistance. Prior to the war starting he was a recently graduated Science Professor, specialising in Life Sciences, and had no experience of real combat before the war started. He did, however, serve in the Dutch army for 2 years when he was 18 to do his compulsary national service.
He is a reluctant soldier, having been forced into joining the resistance through circumstance rather than choice, although his language skills and science knowledge have proved useful so far. He has the nickname "beach" because he has scruffy blonde hair and olive skin, making him look like he's got a permanent sun tan.

Then the Germans showed up. He lost his job and was forced into labor as part of a road crew. Then he found out about the resistance and instantly joined. The rest, as they say, is history.

Background: A old French army soldier, Laurence had thought in the first world war. Laurence saw action at the battle of Verdun and the Somme. I these battle's, Laurence served as a machine gunner during those battle's. After the invasion from the germans, he quickly sought out old army friends from his so he could join the resistance.
While he was in the army, Laurence learned a rudimentary form of German and English.

Background: Albert Jacka was born on a dairy farm near Winchelsea, Victoria on 10 January 1920 the fourth of seven children to Nathaniel Jacka and his English-born wife Elizabeth His family moved to Wedderburn, Victoria when he was five years old, where he attended the local school before working with his father as a haulage contractor. When world war two broke out, Jacka signed up for the army. he fought in france, Belgium, and Holland. When the Germans advanced on Paris, jacka was left behind, mostly because he never showed up at roll call on the day his unit shipped out, instead drinking his own body weight in beer in a shitty parisian bar.

Background: A Royal Airforce Pilot. On a routine escort mission, George's Hurricane was shot down when they raid was rumbled by enemy night fighters. Bailing out George managed to land and evade capture until he was picked up by Resitance fighters. He was being smuggled back through France to be shipped back to Blighty, when he got caught up in Paris.

Background: Adopted and raised by a rich french family in Nice, she early fell in love with the world of technology, wich made her move to Paris to study it when she was in lycée. A few years after she graduated, the war begun. She joined the revolution and provided calculations on how they should build protection, weapons, and vehicles for safest use.
Weapon: Walther P38 and the MAS-36.
Name: Benjamin Fournier (BloodyThoughts)
Age: 25
Background: Ben was born Leon Schlienger in Strasbourg, Alsace, France. He grew up Catholic, but later became a Unitarian Universalist. He was drafted into the Nazi army despite being a Frenchman like many other "Malgre-nous." As an Alsatian, he spoke the German dialect Alsatian as fluently as French. It is said that he soon deserted, joined a group of French Resistance fighters, and became a double agent working for the French. He led a party of Nazis into an ambush, was shot in the arm, but survived.

Backrgound: The middle child of seven children born to humble, Catholic parents, Jean strode to better his life in any way he could, eventually leading him and his siblings to a life of crime. His first love was burglary, and after several years of honing his craft he extended his influence and power through legitimate family buisness and a small but lucrative protection racket with his brother Gabriel. Several of Paris' small Cigar Shops and Cafes operate entirely under his control. Today, Jean remains dedicated to his work and his family,though he lives without the prominent financial status he hoped to achieve by this point in his life (and with a much larger gut than he expected).
