I suppose you could have a strong hallucinogenic drug, combined with adrenaline, that would put people into a constant mad rage (while under its influence). In this they could attack those around them with greater strength and resilience than normal, due to the adrenaline. They would not really be zombies as such, more like reavers from Firefly or the zombies from 28 Days Later. I don't think it is scientifically possible to have undead zombies, but you never know.
yea, I agree with Ryuzaki... 28 days later zombies and firefly reavers... I should think that's possible right now. Fill someone up with enough drugs and maybe give them a little mental conditioning and you could easily make A zombie... but making a sort of zombie virus, that's a little more difficult, though not impossible.

There is a chance of it, not undead zombies no, but a disease that turns people into mad phycoic killers like in 28 days later and left 4 dead...totally possible. Very improbible, but possible.
Coarse, I'm much more worried about nuclear holocaust. It could happen at any moment, and, unlike slow growning brain eating monsters, theres no escape. Its avery frieghtening thought. At least everyone with half a brain has zombie plan, otherwise you'd end up with...well, half a brain. Whats the plan when a nuclear bomb hits your town and you and everyone in it is wipped out. Theres not much you can do.

I think it's totally possible everyone should have a defence plan, but like rossatdi said, it's gotta be old school zombies not these new fangled super monkey zombies.
