The titles that have piqued my interest are...

-Windbound (start of video)
Looks a bit Zelda-y and Team ICO-y.

-Nighthawks: The Vampire RPG (@ 3:33)
I guess the Vampire version of Sunless Sea...?

-Lost Words (29:45)
Artstyle is really great, basically a 2D puzzle platformer that uses words to solve puzzles.

-Gamedec (34:30)
The is the most I've seen of the game and it's looking like it could be really fucking awesome. This could be the Disco Elysium of 2020.

-Of Bird and Cage (1:05:26)
I really have no idea what the hell this game is but it looks interesting, but whatever it is, it's set to symphonic metal.

-Destroy All Humans: One Giant Step on Mankind (1:09:04)
I never played one of these games. I might give this one a try if I have the time.

-Chicken Police (1:44:08)
I fucking love the artstyle of this. A noir detective story with chicken as police.

You guys enjoy the event!? We've got a lot more to do over the next three days! I did literally all the logistics for this, Omar did the editing and Julie from our graphics team did the branding. It was an insane amount of work.

I love that we got Art of Rally in there.

We had a LOT of other cool reveals too, but they either got delayed or some exclusivity deal got screwy when everyone changed their dates around.

Can't say what they were, but I think we have enough cool stuff that we're gonna do another little showcase near the end of the summer...

It would've been cool if you guys separated out the games by genre or some kind of similarity (like there were 2 or 3 racing games, twin-stick shooters, 2D adventurers, RPGs, etc.) splitting up the content into like 15-20 minute segments, which could've been uploaded over a week(end) or whatever. Also, it would've been cool if someone on the staff talked about the game for just a minute or 2 (just like introducing the game) for the games that had no developer content with them. Just giving a quick overall of the game, talking about why the game interests you, talking about any hands-on gameplay (if anyone did play a preview build of it at some point).

Just finished watching the showcase and wishlisted a smathering of games I didn't know about and likely never would've paid any mind otherwise. Which I guess is the point. Also saves me the time of having to go looking myself. So mission accomplished, this enabling of my laziness is appreciated.

That's what we're doing with the post-show. We didn't really feel the need to have someone commentate over it, at least, that's usually what I get bored with quickly on showcases so we tried it that way and wanted to use the post-show as the part where you would get all that extra info if you wanted it.

NIghthawks apparently does have some of the Sunless Sea/Sunless Sky/Fallen London people involved.

Gamedec looks interesting. Hopefully it can pull off variety of meaningful choice the way it says it will. I was getting DE-like vibes from it.

The original was made by Pandemic back in their glory days. Despite some reservations I have about what's been shown in the remake so far I'm still gonna get it just to support a franchise that I thought previously dead.

Weird to think of destroy all human as an indie title...

The first one was fun but they made too many of them too quickly and too homogeneous. You played the first one you played them all (and the game play was already kinda repetitive). If you want more like it there's "attack of the earthling" which has a similar theme/vibe (although turn based strategy).

Strongly disagree, I thought the second game improved upon the first in every way. The setting, characters, and writing are excellent and pair up well with the gameplay (mind scanning is one of the greatest game mechanics ever!). The first two are games that were clearly made with a lot of passion. I replay both of them every couple of years and I've never grown bored of them.

I just checked out Attack of the Earthlings and I might pick it up if it goes on sale.

Unto the End looks interesting. Shades of games like INSIDE/LIMBO or Another World but some combat thrown in(Which I guess makes it like Another World).
Bartlow's Dread Machine looks cool, if only for the sheer aesthetic right now. Reminds me of Toy Soldiers but not a Tower Defense game. Hopefully the gameplay can live up to it.
Ditto the Jugglers Tale. Like a spiritual successor to Puppeteer.
Gamedec has promise to be like Disco Elysium.
Nighthawks is Wadyjet games with some Failbetter Talent involved. Yes Please.
Eldest Souls has a cool art style and looks like it could be fun.
Windbound looks like Breath of the WInd meets Moana. Since I don't own a switch, being a decent clone of Breath of the Wild would be fine on it's own.
Bird and Cage.....I have no idea what it is but I'm interested.
Garden Story looks cute. Kinda of a Stardew valley feel going but more zelda-like

I read that as Chikan Police and had a lot of questions.

Played the remake last year at E3, and as a huge fan of the original, it's good. Modern controls, nice visuals but nothing mindblowing, the cutscenes have all been upgraded. It's a lot of fun. I like THQNordic's approach of remaking classics and then building out based on audience interest. Worked well for Darksiders, so I'm hoping the same works for Destroy all Humans and now Kingdoms of Amalur too.

I missed the original for some reason(Oh, PS2 and XBOX, that's why) so playing the remake is my first actual exposure to it. I played the Demo and enjoyed it and hopefully it holds up over the 10ish hours of gameplay.

I do appreciate they got Invader Zims Voice actor to play Pox.
