I was not expecting this. He was always my favorite Leon, and I will miss him dearly. The cause of death is unknown right now, but he was in failing health.

That's his live action actor from RE1. All the characters had two different actors. A live-action actor, and a separate voice actor for when doing the actual gameplay. I'm surprised you never knew about this. Just look up the character tvtropes on the Resident Evil page.
