I happily embrace new modalities, philosophies, and legal constructs, thank you very much. Like for instance if and when the ultra-wealthy enter international waters in stupid mega-yachts, if those yachts happen to get droned, well hey, the US no longer considers territoriality, citizenship status, proportionality, or due process particularly relevant in the execution of criminal justice does it? I consider it more an equal protection issue than anything, really.
If anyone vaguely associated with those responsible for about 3,000 deaths and $40 billion in economic damage in 2001 can and will be droned with extreme prejudice and without remorse or legal oversight, people knowingly and directly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands per year and trillions in economic damage should be too, right?
