While I don't like the comments about burning things down, this seems to have been a peaceful protest and remained so for this particular event.

Edit:I also think they should have been wearing clothes of a lighter color if the heat caused such a problem at their previous demonstration. All black clothes are not good for protesting in in the summer.

It is pretty messed up that they are STILL having to protest over this because not enough is being done. This happened before George Floyd and is STILL falling on deaf ears.

It's happened in Louisville before specifically, and anybody who isn't a radical centrist has known its been happening all over the country for months.

These guys are actually former US military snipers. This is really no different than the other US military veterans groups who have defended other protests. These guys are actually MORE trained than the police, not less.

While I do not think guns have any place at a protest, these are not exactly kids role playing rambo.. they are actually rambo...

This is a misleading statement. While I don't doubt that there's a non-zero number of ex-military "snipers" in this group, there's no proof that this group is entirely made up of ex-military "snipers", or even entirely made up of ex-military.

The only source for who these people are is the leader, and he's obviously biased.

I actually just heard something about this story the other day. They were claiming the cops had no body cameras but it turns out there's pictures of one of em from the night they shot that lady with a camera on his shoulder. Hopefully they find that footage if it exists out there somewhere.

Yea I had heard about that. This case, everything about it makes me sick. The judge shouldn't have issued the warrant in the first place. The person who filed for the warrant did so on false pretenses. The cops didn't properly execute the warrant. There were so many things wrong that should have never happened lots of heads need to roll but that is precisely the reason why nothing is being done. They have to take down too many people to do so AND they have to change how this is being done all together. Corrupt to the bone to have cams off at all when executing a warrant. No excuse for every single cop there to not have their cams on.

Yea, like how the cops actually prevented any of the people from accessing the water while they were dumping it? They were like "you have to fight to cops to get some water". Seriously messed up. They want to call that protect and serving? Causing people to pass out from dehydration is them serving the people in their minds and then people want to act like the cops aren't doing anything wrong here.

People have been protesting this before George Floyd even happened and have been ignored this entire time. They have yet to charge the officers for "wantonly and blindly" firing into Breonna's apartment and murdering her . If they want the protests to stop, they have to stop murdering people and not charging the people who murdered them. They aren't just going to quiet down about it until something actually is done, and I don't blame them.

This is pretty much it. The protests aren't going to stop as long as there is no accountability, and they really shouldn't.

Breonna is gone, she lost the rest of her life, her loved ones lost the time they had with her forever. They can't get that back. As long as she is dead and her murderers walk free, they shouldn't just calm down. Her family isn't going to calm down either. Something has to be done here.
