TBH out of most of the protests going on THIS is the one people really should be the most pissed about and should be taking the most action on. An EMT who spent her life risking hers to save others gets murdered in her home on a warrant that should have never been issued by an officer under false pretenses served by cops who wantonly and blindly fired into her apartment killing her. This was so many levels of screwed up illegal and yet they are still walking free and she never will.
She wasn't even a criminal. She didn't even do anything to have them come to her home and murder her in the first place.
I too never learned to tie my shoes because I always imagined the laces were pythons trying to eat me so I was too scared to touch them.

EVEN the NFAC knows better than to bring a bunch of guns up into a pile of protesters, so they pulled out so no one would get hurt. Not send a group of untrained, undisciplined, ignorant kids and dumbasses who would give loaded guns to kids into an angry protest to defend some property because only stupid people do that and that gets people killed like what happened in kenosha. Kids have no place in a protest with loaded guns.
Yeah this case is extremely black and white, also it's not even the first one, there was this other one a while back where some cop shot a lady playing videogames with her nephew through her window because her front door was open to let cool air in and some worried neighbor called the cops.
People will say that even criminals shouldn't just be executed by cops but for a large segment of the population which does intellectually acknowledge this fact, feeling empathy is difficult if the victim was up to no good and was involved in crime. Cases like this where the victim is a good person and wasn't doing anything actually warranting calling the cops over should be centered. This is something that everyone can come together for as well, so trying to paint it as a racial crime and protesting about it like with those other events I think is needlessly divisive, because the lady was sleeping and was basically shot by stray bullets that the cops peppered the house with. If they present this as a case of general wrongdoing that anyone could be affected by if the cops come to the wrong house I think it'll be much less divisive than it has been so far.
Guys, I know you keep getting shot by the police and police keep getting away with it and you're getting brutalized by police at your "stop police brutality" protests and random white supremacist groups have now started to openly and brazenly attack you while the police stands around and ignores it BUT Karen is getting a little uncomfortable with these protests and might vote for Trump now so can we go ahead and stop protesting please?
I just want to grill for God's sake!

Given that the topic has been discussed on these very forums, in these protest threads, which you have been active in, I find myself highly doubting this is new information for you, unless you've been willfully ignoring it as slander against police.

True, but if we get trump again then you can be sure he will do everything he can to let off any police bad behavior. Hes running on law and order and this is kinda how Nixon won. At the moment hes still losing mainly because of his covid response but as we get more and more talk about a vaccine that worry will lessen.
I'm pretty sure that Breonna has been getting simultaneous protests long with George Floyd since almost the start or at least that is what I have been reading. I mean this is all good stuff to protest, but what really matters is what grandma and grandpa in flyover country are reading and hearing. If they hear about cities on fire because of protesters then the orange bastard can win and make things much worse. If they see more footage of police behaving badly then the orange bastard loses since hes trying to be law and order. Who knows, maybe we have seen enough footage of bad police behavior that it will still stick, I just want his ass gone since nothing will improve till he is.
Oh gee, oh no, oh my, people who were never gonna do anything but vote for Trump in the first place...are definitely going to vote harder for Trump now! Because the country isn't at pre-Civil War levels of political polarization, and there are definitely racists out there who were on the fence before, but the mass deployment of chemical weapons against American civilians by its own law enforcement across all levels of government is deffo going to mobilize their vote now! Frankly, eight hits out of approximately 40 shots fired is a massive improvement for them.
