Putin removed a governor Sergei Furgal in early July. He was removed over some murder charges. From the early 2000s. He is quite popular apparently. He has been outspoken against Putin... leading to question why this ‘murder charge’ he come up now.

There is a big anti Putin movement in the west and there has been a lot of people coming out to ‘riot‘. I also haven’t seen any news on this for 2 weeks.... so I doubt things are going well for anyone there
