I meant in the general "People tend to look at things that confirm to their own biases, everyone retreats into gated communities and nobody talks to each other". As polarized as the country is now, in a very broad sense it's correct. I mean, hell, polling pretty much confirms there's almost nobody left to convince at this point. You either love Trump for who he is and everything that's happened under his watch....or you really, really don't and will vote for anyone other then him to kick his ass to the curb. The trenches are dug deep and pretty much everyone knows what side they're on by now. There's supposedly 10% undecided right now but I can only speculate these are people who are either incredibly apathetic, plan to vote 3rd party regardless or do not pay attention to politics at all for whatever reason.
He's still wrong on a shitton of other things mostly due to his bizarre love-that-dare-not-speak-its-name for Trump, thus why he keeps claiming he doesn't like him but then spends so much energy going to bat for the man.
And to answer your question, Trump hates the same things they hate. That's why his base loves him. He "Owns the libs" and anything is worth the price of doing so, apparently.
