Actually a very smooth launch, got in a server quickly. There were some latency issues and my kills registering seconds after they happen. I did disconnect 3-time during a match. I expect that to be fixed once the player count is normalized.
Dropped a 40-kill bomb as Tracer. Running around...
There needs to be more games where it is ambiguous to if you are evil or good...
I usually have way more fun playing a neutral path rather than a strict good/evil path.
There are plenty of games that show you an evil path (Fable, Mass Effect, Infamous) but it's usually SO horribly evil...
Against multiple enemies you usually don't want to stay locked on. It's better to backstab fish too as it slows the game down and lets you plan what to do next.
Knowing how to fight when NOT locked on is an important thing in the Souls games people don't do much.
I like many things about DS3. I have only three issues.
1. Bosses are too easy. The supposed super hard optional boss was a joke. His first form is easy while cool in scope. 2nd form once you map out his attacks are also easily dodged
2. Broken poise system. It's just nonexistent in PvE...
The "protector" covenants are just completely broken. They needed to reintroduce the Blue Eye Orb for the Darkmoon and leave the Sentinels to auto-help or something. If I summon a phantom and then use Dried Finger I'll always get an invader and darkmoon in my world within 5 mins. Without doing...
I'm enjoying it but less so the more I progress. I'm level 35 and found the black matter hammer while wandering around randomly and now I'm just tremendously overpowered and wrecking everything. Even that drake by the shadowfort wasn't a big challenge. Arc of Deliverance is the shit though...
GOTY - Undertale. Bloodborne is a close second.
Disappointment - Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. I just didn't like the gameplay on the 3DS. A game like this needs a major console or PC release.
Multiplayer - Chivalry Medieval Warfare.
I have 900 hours into it and play on a competitive team. It's a flawed but extremely deep fun game. Comp scene is really damn small though.
Single Player - Any game in the Soul's series. Especially Dark Souls 1.
It's a type of console no one really asked for yet Nintendo just kind of forced it on us.
All the great games for it are being released on the 3DS too anyways. Since I have that I see no reason for get a WiiU
Alright thanks for the info, I haven't done their routes yet so I'll be sure to disable them for that.
This is a nice relaxing change from the normally hyper-competitive Starcraft 2 I play most of my days now.
I'm pretty impressed with this thus far. I never played a "VN" or "Dating sim" before, but the writing for this is actually well done.
It doesn't seem perverted at all and I can actually relate to one of the characters on some level.
Go into it with a open mind and you'll be pleasantly...
