I'm going to list off some plot elements of Arthas's story, I'll also try to find ANY link to the Witch king of Angmar.

Tolkien's influence is heavy in the Warcraft universe, so is Warhammer's, ALL fantasy after Tolkien can be attributed to him somehow.
But plot lines like Arthas's have nothing to do with Tolkien.

I thought it's more to do with what people think those labels you give yourself imply.
Like SJW for example, you call yourself that and I might think you support other-kin, but you might not.
They don't know anything about you, you need to clarify your position before labeling yourself.
That's a weird one to me, you excuse people for being douches merely on the grounds that their religion dictate so?
I don't mean you give them a free pass, but in my mind they are both equal in their douche-baggery, neither have good reasons for it.
They use them because people like me (played warcraft 1-3) love them, and his abilities would be similar to those he had as a deathknight in warcraft 3 frozen throne.

This may come across as ignorant, sorry, but why not just identify as the gender you wish to be rather then refer to yourself with a transitionary phrase?
