Could you specify what disqualifies Macs from being PCs? Having used both Windows and OSX quite a lot I can assure you, that aside from some OS specific software there is basically nothing one OS can do that the other cannot.

iPhone 5 will have a new design, beefed up specs means an "s" on the end. If you watch the keynote you'll see it has download speeds equivelent to what competitors are calling 4G (correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe that means LTE). Also with an adapter you get HDMI

I guess U.S. prices (or where ever you live) are different, but in Norway a monthly magazine (e.g. MAD, Empire) will cost you about 18 USD, and a Pub Club membership will cost 20 for a year with, hundreds of hours of entertainment. To me the choice was obvious.
