Take a look at the NPCs in Fable, and you'll see that Peter Molyneux is a bullshitter, not an enthusiastic visionary. There is none, NO effort whatsoever put into trying to get players to "care" about the characters. A bunch of mindless drones who spew the same lines of dialogue over and over...
