Meaning that the game is probably more or less finished the beta will be to stress test the servers in time for launch. I believe the same thing was done by EA for Titanfall. Still I know this is EA and we love to shit on them as a publisher but I honestly can't wait for this game!

I'm a massive fan of the Zelda games, and yet I could see this working. If done properly. Imagine, it being set during the "great war" mentioned in Zelda lore, therfore no Link and not having the game rely on one major hero,I think an mmo be a cool way for players of the series to experience...
