I think it's cause they're one of the pioneers of heavy metal. At the time their music was unique in the music industry.

For me it'd have to be Mirrors Edge. I really like the design of that game. Everything from the aesthetics to the music to the gameplay. I don't need combat (or alot of it) in a game. Just don't have a next gen console :(
