Bayonetta Demo

So I have just finished playing the demo released on Xbox Live of Bayonetta, And I actually thought it was fairly decent, the combat was well choreographed and the variety of moves was massively entertaining. So far I can't discern any plot but seeing as this game from the same man who made Devil May Cry I don'texpect much. Still.. Witches, Angels and a giant dragon constructed from hair might make up for a lack of plot.

Thoughts? Yay, Nay, Meh?

I actually liked it to be honest, I was surprised that I did like it. It was a pretty good demo, the focus seems to be mainly on dodging though so you have to be skilled at it.

Great demo, I wish more hack and slash demos would realize that having more unresticted movesets is a good thing like in this game.

Interesting battle system, with the torture moves... and that her HAIR makes up her clothes and some of her battler moves. Whoever came up with that one was either very creative or on some hallucinogenic drug.

Yeah, my money is the creators of this game were reaaaly high at the time.

I was expecting the game to fail horribly, especially since I barely had any information about the game, none if I ignore the first trailer.

IIRC I read somewhere that it was a form of DMC clone, a game series I fucking hate(well, I liked 3 but the others failed) and when I started the demo it looked like some horrible anime.(I also hate anime)
Then I started playing the game and the combination of DMC-like combat with the extreme anime-ish behaviour of the game have probably made the demo GOTY for me.
I also used the easy-automatic for a while, and that's probably the best feature of the game since I was laughing too hard to play the game.
