A TM is used to teach a Pokemon a move. Until Black and White, a TM went away after a single use, which sucked because for most of them, there was only one of teachable move.
THIS IS WONDERFUL! One of the things I hated about TM's was that I was scared to use them, ala RPG Stockpiling syndrome. I always thought I'd need it more down the road with a better Pokemon.
Both good ideas. Most fire-type moves are Special, and yet most fire-type Pokemon have heavy Physical Attack! As for new eeveelutions, I've always wanted a Ghost type and a Steel type. And for them to give Umbreon less crappy attack stats!
Even if Gamefreak doesn't do any of these great ideas that we've come up with, could they at least stop adding more Pokemon to battles and calling it innovation? Triple Battles are not innovative or interesting.
BRAINFART!
Do the whole online thing where everyone you meet is another player and you can become a gym leader/elite four member if you get good enough and want to, but during battles (WHICH WILL ONLY BE SINGLE-BATTLES) you do a sort of Soulcalibur/Tekken type deal where you take control of...
I understand your point, but what I meant was how can the developers make it so that you CAN'T win by getting a level 100 Rayquaza and murdering everything? How can they FORCE players to use tactics?
I really like this idea. There could just be certain pokemon that can do the HM moves inherently! Why can't Machamp push a damn rock until I teach it how to? Why can't Ho-Oh fly me somewhere until I give it a manual? Why indeed can't Gyarados swim until I give it waterwings?
