    I second (third?) Ravenholm. When I was playing it alone, with the lights out, I got goosebumps. The level where the Flood first make their appearance in Halo was also pretty freaky (although it was somewhat of a rip-off of Half-Life). Just the swamp part though. Everything else was kinda meh.

    Start out with "easy" FPS games like Battlefield 1942. Then slowly move up to harder games.
