I got an Xbox with the same anxieties. I haven't gotten either so I'm good. I guess I'm just lucky like that.

I really enjoyed Fable 1. To the people I hung out with and lived with, it wasn't so great as I thought it was. It was an unaprecciated gem to me. I was really looking forward to Fable 2 until I got it. It does have improvements but has bad things too. The game, for me, took two steps forward...

I guess I missed something after the first season...
