Ok, so I've been thinking about this. It's true that used games aren't piracy but they do cut into profits of the publishers/creators. Here's my way of thinking on it:
The reason most pub/devs have started hating on used games so much is because of gamestop(no this is not gamestop hate)...
I'm not sure I get all this. So they could possibly get away with it if it's in the EULA right? But for console games, you can't see the EULA until you start the game or open it. So wouldn't that void the EULA since it isn't openly displayed or easily accessed by the consumer?
I could be wrong in my interpretation, but I believe that applies specifically to an actual flag, not a shirt. As in you can't use it as a cape or make it into a shirt.
*shakes head* and I thought Molyneux was bad. Game of the Year I could see him saying but forever? I guess there's no need to make a Wii U since it's all downhill from here right Reg?
I can understand wanting to try and stop violence before it happens, but seriously you couldn't find any other way than banning wearing shirts with flags on them? I'm sorry but being told I couldn't wear a shirt with my flag(in my country) because it offends someone? That doesn't sit right with me.
That depends on different things, but if we're talking total compliance from the masses.
I was going to make a whole list but to put it simply, I would make the world like The Federation of Star Trek, or at least put us on the path to it.
I agree to some extent with what OP says but really you have to think about it from the characters view. The Spartans are made to be the perfect soldiers raised from childhood for nothing but war. It's not like they go out for a beer or to see their gf/bf after a mission is done. They fight and...
I can agree with that(though it's doubtful he'll ever be hired now). But with so many people there, there is no telling if it would have escalated or not, and seeing as how someone tried to pull a hit and run I think it would have. And since I don't live there I can't tell how police are in that...
This. I mean seriously, I went through most of a page of people insulting the guy for trying to do something good before I saw anyone say something close to "at least he tried" or "he didn't let it just happen". Yeah, it's a crazy idea, but with as much crazy shit happening in the world, at...
