Why is there no Ancient China option? Sure, if I was a peasant I'd spend most of my days working in a rice paddy and getting ring worm, but if you happened to be rich you were really rich. Not to mention the country was almost always at war with itself, so things would have been lively.
It's not just middle schoolers, there are people at my high school who have them, too. And yes, any girls with them have superhero backpacks and any boys have princess ones. *head desk*

I read a lot of books, usually two or three a month, depending on my work load. I'm pretty sure I'm legitimately addicted to books though. I don't feel comfortable going anywhere without carrying one in my purse.

I usually get half way through a book before I start double or triple reading. Plus, I'll sometimes get assigned a book to read for homework and be reading that the same time as a book for fun. My family is always amazed that I can keep the characters straight, but it's actually pretty easy...
