Seeing as how everything WoW did had been done by other MMOs in the past, I dunno if I'd say it defined MMOs. It was influential in games that came after it though, just like Magic: The Gathering. For better or worse in both cases.
Depending on how they upgrade the graphics that would affect gameplay. Increasing the viewing area for example, would adjust how the game is played. The original was a perfect storm. I'd be happy keeping it as is and just letting it be played more easily on the new bnet.
Couldn't they have added new and different things? Instead of just rereleasing the same concepts and ideas they did in every other Sims game? Vampires were first added to The Sims 2 in 2005. Now in 2017, we get...vampires again!

Nah, because it isn't dealing with some ultimates that are a pain. Its the fact they recharge instantly. So the enemy can use them over and over without care.
I am honestly not sure. I think it could be the tank meta but a lot of it comes down to Ana. She is what makes that possible. I really hate that character.
I also wish ultimates had another nerf to their charge rate. It still feels like every game comes down to ultimates. I always have fun...
