O Shi, Wing commander and TIE fighter were tight.. how is it that they cant re-create anything like that in modern era?

Knights are skilled in all forms of combat including the crossbow. Dont you kids watch deadliest warrior? Even if you had these fantasy guns, 1/15,000 knights would hit you with a crossbow and youre dead. Best to arm yourself with a tank in those odds.
