When I say 'the internet' what is the first thing you think of?

"The internet" makes me imagine a powerful entity or force which gradually alters or corrupts your mind.

Instictively trying to use a technique in the wrong game.

After spending a lot of time building towers in Minecraft, you forget that crouching in other games doesn't prevent you from falling.

Change.org Petition Demands Legal Gay Marriage For Ernie and Bert

Slash fiction exists, no denying that, but wanting it declared canon is another thing entirely.

Change.org Petition Demands Legal Gay Marriage For Ernie and Bert

This is a bit ridiculous. I mean... imagine this demand being put on any other male characters who have lived together. Imagine their creators being petitioned to pair off these two just because some part of the audience (not even the target audience) says so. It's their show with their...

Poll: Poll: Rule 34, Your opinion

I believe Rule 34 is healthy for the same reason I believe good childhood TV shows should have some amount of nightmare fuel in them. It works out your coping mechanism. I also respect the creator's creative ability, out of humor or perversion, to reach into their mind's shadow and give it form.

The most exercise you've ever done

The most physically exhausting thing I've ever done was probably the time I helped my friend move when I was 16. We had one day to get all their stuff out of their 4-bedroom 4-bathroom house onto the moving truck. (They got hit hard and couldn't afford it) The two moving guys and I created a...

    Poll: Are you weird?

I feel that I have unique quirks and odd habits but I'm told that I'm actually quite well-balanced. As is with the majority of people Also yes, I learned I can neck fart. Now I will be doing that for a while. Thanks for that.

What is your all time favorite boss battle?

I'd say the Paper Mario, Pikmin and Sonic games (even the declining ones) all had really good, very challenging boss battles.

    Tomorrow I start high school.

As a recent graduate I can give my advice, though it may be biased since I was fairly non-social. Avoid getting caught up on social groups, select friends on an individual basis. Be friendly with the teachers, they will be more lenient and classes will be more enjoyable. Get requirements...

    What is your "That Book"?

To list mine: Future Shock: For a 40-yr-old book, it's underlying ideas about the future still seem to apply astonishingly well. The Books of Atrus and Ti'ana: I've followed the Myst series from when I was 6, and reading the lore rings with familiarity and nostalgia. Lovecraft...

Here's an idea: Let's disband Anonymous.

Yeah, it's a bit optimistic, and even I doubt anyone could successfully mount a threat to Anonymous without either causing a massive public backlash or being shot down my Anonymous itself, or both.

Here's an idea: Let's disband Anonymous.

I've been seeing a lot of criticism and skepticism recently about Anonymous's power and potential. Some deride them for squandering their influence on immature tantrums; some denounce that they really have any power at all. I do believe that Anonymous has power, influence and untapped...

Do you prefer light or darkness?

When trying to relax or immerse my self in something, I prefer the room to be pitch black. I made an effort to remove as much light as possible from my bedroom. When either working or reading, I like a dim light with low contrast since sharp shadows distract me. Whenever I'm in a social...
