Now I may be biased, since I worked on the game. But while I thought the story to be a little cheesy at times, considering the thing that the game's a sci-fi title by means of story, the future stuff also acted like a great means of linking all the past elements together.
I mean, there's...
I guess one of the Mountain Giants from WoW would suit the purposes just fine. He would make weapons out of the trees, and stone doesn't really care much about bullets.
I played a GBA one which had a female protagonist... don't really remember the name. I was obsessed with searching that cave so much that I saved state after finding the entrance to the next level and did it again conserving as much energy as I could. Dang.
Am I the only guy around here that thinks that Alex Mercer is just like the T-1000 from Terminator 2? Sure he isn't metal, but almost everything else IS there.
So, who else thinks that, or who do you think Mercer is alike to?
I loved Braid, and Plants vs Zombies. Sure 3D is a natural step up, but most of the time it increases the complexity of the game, and you don't want too much complexity in a casual game, for example.
I'll do it. I'm a Blizzard fanboy :)
But really now, is there any reason for which I shouldn't be? All games I've played from Blizzard have been great, even though I don't actively play WoW.
WoW is as evil as prescription drugs. Nobody makes you play it, it's your choice, and you can stop whenever you want. If you get addicted, it's your fault.
It's a great game in my opinion... Great gameplay and storytelling, as well as the most kickass emotional moments in my gaming history - seriously, being a dying character looking out the helicopter at a nuclear explosion cloud... that made my day, and week.
The multiplayer is engaging too...
