    Superman's Pal, Jenny Olsen

I am merely speculating. I have not seen the movie in question, and perhaps this decision will improve the film. However, there is no reason to change anything unless it contributes something positive to the narrative. Having a secondary (and probably unimportant) character's gender flipped...

    Superman's Pal, Jenny Olsen

Should have trademarked the title to this thread, for when Movie Bob inevitably makes a Big Picture or Intermission about this, calling this "progressive" or "empowering". Then I can get those internet celebrity dollars everyone is clamoring for. LOL

Escape to the Movies: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

I have to say, bashing Abrams and pointing out anything that could be remotely perceived as misogyny are pretty close to the top of the list of "Boring Opinions that Movie Bob Has." That and "Sucker Punch was a good movie, really."

    Superman's Pal, Jenny Olsen

So, interesting thing about the credits [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0770828/fullcredits#cast] for Man of Steel. Jimmy Olsen is not a character that is listed in the film's credits, but Jenny Olsen, as played by Rebecca Buller is. Thoughts? Personally, I could care less. Jimmy has almost...

No Right Answer: Best Silent Protagonist Ever

Crono from Chrono Trigger is the best imho.

US military to allow women in direct combat

As long as all soldiers are all held to the same high standards of conduct and fitness, I see no problem with this. If standards are lowered to meet recruitment quotas, I see a lot of problems with this.

what the hell will they do for mass effect 4 * spoilers* * spoilers*

I think they've exhausted all the material they have for Mass Effect, and a sequel, prequel, or anything else will only compound the problems that they have. I enjoyed each game, but to be honest, I have doubts that they can create anything new that won't be overshadowed by the original trilogy.

You discover that your significant other is a robot.

If someone looks human down to the smallest detail, how are they not, by definition, human?

    Your Personal Most Played Game

I think I've played Mass Effect about 8-10 times, Mass Effect 2 about 5 times, and Mass Effect 3 3 times. I've logged truckloads of time into TF2, but I've been playing since it's launch back in 2007, so over 5 or so years, that's not too bad.

What is the appeal in Katawa Shoujo and other visual novels?

I regret using the word "game" in my opening post. Now that I think about it, I have no problem with the format itself. I loved "Chose Your Own Adventure" books when I was a kid. I just started playing The Walking Dead and I am enjoying that so far. I suppose the thing that doesn't strike a...

Videogame characters that you disliked initially, but warmed up to later

What characters did you initially find off-putting but then later you grew to enjoy? For me, a lot of the characters from the Mass Effect games were like this. I suppose the best example of this for me would be Javik in the third game. Initially, all he seems to be is a violent, paranoid...

    American McGee Blasts EA Marketing

McGee sure has opinions. I have to say, after the temper tantrum he threw here on these forums a little while ago, I am a lot less likely to take his statements at face value anymore. He seems to be blaming EA for his mediocre game doing poorly, instead of taking responsibility.

Canada. Nice people and no bloody wars with drug cartels.
