Be fair, Shinobu was difficult. I was disappointed with how easy the final boss in that game was though. In fact, I was a bit disappointed by how easy every fight was after Shinobu. It was still an awesome game.

While not very sad, the most surprising death was in I Wanna Be The Guy when the moon fell out of the sky and killed you. Then again, knowing that game I should have expected it.
