The most heinously annoying enemies of all time

Well, aside from Cliffracers. I would like to nominate Demon Eyeballs and Giant Worms from Terraria and also the ghosts in the Project Zero games. I am NOT OKAY with things being able to go through walls. Not cool, yo.

    Cleansing your gaming palette

I like to go wandering Skyrim until something else grabs me, nothing like a bit of Nordic sightseeing and archery to whet the appetite! Minecraft is another one I reach for, mostly because the soundtrack is absolutely inspiring but also because I've just discovered the joys of creative mode! :-)

Poll: Borderlands Gun Manufacturer: Who's your favorite?

Maliwan! I like setting people on fire.

    Graphics Pet Peeve

    I'm with you guys who have suggested font sizing. I recently bought myself a new rig and due to nice new shiny HDTV and lack of a PC desk, I figured that seated at my sofa in front of my TV would be a good idea. It wasn't. I'm struggling to read ;_;

Sounds like Speedball to me... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speedball_(video_game)

Games with Snowy / Winter environments

Less typical of snow-themed stages (and a little cheaty suggestion) but SWEET JESUS do I love the Tokyo Megaplex in the SSX series :-3

Poll: What do you use: Console or PC?

Well, up until later on this week, I will have been primarily a 360 gamer, but I have just invested a rather large amount in a brand new PC, so I should imagine that I will be using that more often. I refuse to "take sides" in the consoles vs PC argument as I enjoy gaming on nearly all...

Poll: Do You Still Like ZP?

I still love ZP. I'd love to see a collaboration between Yahtzee and Charlie Brooker. The bile generated would be immense.

Poll: do you prefer to play as male or female character ?

I tend to play females because I have a tendency to create characters which look like me but I'll often play as my alter-ego; a huge muscled tank of a man often wielding large two-handed weapons and a penchant for kicking ass.

Games That Absolutely Need a Sequel

Sweet baby Jesus, TIMESPLITTERS 4. Also, I'm sure no-one else remembers this one, but I'd love to see another D/Generation game bought back from Amiga days. Wherefore art thou, Mindscape? I'm a sucker for cyberpunk. <3

Do you think a game that sexualizes a Male Main character would sell?

Kuja is a guy (at least in the Euro version), I recall him being named as "mystery man" and a couple of occasions where characters remark that "he" looks rather effeminate. Maybe he's got a lady garden under those clothes and is genderqueer, who knows. Despite his ladylike appearance, Kuja has...

Do you think a game that sexualizes a Male Main character would sell?

Also, if you want scantily-clad "bad boy" bishies, you might want to hop over to JRPG territory. Plenty of them over there. *remembers Kuja* D-:

Do you think a game that sexualizes a Male Main character would sell?

Hmm, I'm of the hyperactive, low attention span female persuasion myself and the kinds of games which attract me are massive explosions, guns, bombs, destruction, kittens etc, rather than sexy male characters. I theorised that Techno Kitten Adventure might well be the perfect game for me, so...

That underrated, forgotten gem of a game.

Pharaoh and it's expansion Cleopatra. I've invested hundreds of hours building pyramids and guarding the Nile against invaders. I would also like to put forward Jade Cocoon as I really did enjoy playing that originally.

Do some gamers want to exclude others from gaming?

Well, I've been gaming for 24 years and have seen this exclusionary attitude on many, many occasions. A lot of it is that snooty, "holier than thou" attitude, which I think has been encouraged due to the competitive nature of many games. A lot of it (in my generation, I've noticed) comes...
