I've personally seen Halo and MW/2 as both main stream and or enjoyed by those outside of the typical gamer culture, Combat Evolved and the entire series included. Opinions always vary, of course, but where I stand and what I see, I don't understand the CoD is " cooler " then halo mindset shared...

Mason does have frequent lines throughout the game. Not of shakespearean length / scope but he does speak. However, it may be difficult to hear him over the pew pews and 'splosions.

I really doubt the lack of World War 1 games is due to America's late entry in the conflict. That's a pretty absurd idea. That and it's made worse by continuously being repeated over and over in posts, as if it's some grand, genius like observation. It isn't. At first, it may have been amusing...

That Wall-E cake is the most amazing thing I've seen. Kind of. I want one. D: But yes, nostalgia has a funny way of distorting our view on things. However, I won't argue that those cartoons such as Aladin and Pinocchio aren't timeless classics... Lion King was my personal favorite growing up.

I was going to say Final Fantasy VII since I don't play too many JRPGs then I saw you all naming Tales of Symphonia and I was reminded of Tales of Phantasia. That game was great, specially for its time so, think I'll have to name Tales of Phantasia as mine.

This. It'd be neat to see a novelization of Opposing Force. Either through Sheppard's eyes, or the marines set before him.

I'd like to see the SDK released. It's supposed to be out sometime after the DLC, so, here's hoping that it'll come next week and not next month. Or worse. Really, with the SDK out, most of the ideas in this thread can be made reality in due time, specially those wishing for new campaigns...

I just finished Jade Empire a few days ago. Pretty good game, don't understand why I ignored it when it first came out. A sequel, perhaps even thrown in a Japanese-set atmosphere would be cool, as long as it kept the core gameplay style. Hell, I wouldn't mind another romp in little China town...
