It sort of fixes the game. I mean, it's still a bad port but it does have a smoother framerate. They still didn't realy fix the controller issue. You can aparantly play the game with other controllers then the 360 one but I couldn't get mine to work. I am somewhat pleased with this upgrade but...

I am a slave to the bargain bin. Latest adition was Gears of War for 10?. I still felt cheated though. I hate allmost everything about that game. I got allmost all my games for under 20?. I ocasionaly splash out on a full price title but it seems such a waste when you see all those bargains...

If it's for the PS3 i would buy GTA4. I heard that Fallout3 had some issues on that system.

Planescape Torment. I started playing it numerous times and I usualy get stuck after talking to the pillar of skulls. The enemies there are just too powerfull :(.

I'm not sure were you get the feeling that people dislike Bethesda. I find that most people rather like their games. I don't see how saying that Fallout3 runs on the same engine as Oblivion is a complaint either as it is a very good engine for big landscapes and it is still technically up there...

Oh and if you haven't played Yoshi's Island DS yet you should definately check it out (best platformer on that system IMO).

I thought phantom hourglass was ok but only in short bursts. I would recommend it but only if you can get it on the cheap. I am still hoping they make a new zelda game for the DS that isn't '3d'.

Never played Fable2 but I do agree when you say that fallout3 doesn't spoon feed the gamer. Also I'm kinda glad I didn't see everything in my first go. It means the game has lots of replay value.

I do realize side quests are a big part of a rpg. The problem with fallout however is that there seems to be very little incentive to do them. In older rpg's doing side quests was essential to bolster your character to do the much harder main quests. In fallout you can basically skip every side...

So playing as a bad guy doesn't make it harder? I'll probably ramp up the difficulty slider for my next run then.

I probably did miss a lot of the content but I didn't really feel the need to find everything.
