Portability is a distinct advantage, mainly because it means that Even though I'm at college, So are all my save games. Smuggling games into school becomes as easy as either slipping the disk in my backpack when the parents arent looking or simply using Steam. XD

It depends. If its an addition that adds value and enjoyment, then it will probably be worth it. If it just adds some crappy environments to do the same thing in that you have been doing all along... Well, at that point it depends on the person playing.
