I watch pretty much every LoL tournament that is streamed (apart from Go4LoL). I also watch SC2 sometimes although I don't really understand it much (only played it a few times long time ago). Following the scene is something I always do when I play a game seriously and watching e-sports is just...
I find it kind of ironic how people talk about how bad the teacher is for imposing her thoughts (games aren't an art) on others, but think it's perfectly fine for the OP to impose his (games are an art) upon the teacher.
You can bring up the whole 'games are officially recognized as an art'...
If you can't split the players up in different groups, your best bet would be to get 1 or 2 of the players to co-DM with you. If you rotate the players who have to DM between each adventure and still let them share in the loot and exp it should be fine.
More likely that people who don't like it just don't see the point of the game. And there isn't one.
There is no narrative, no quests, no real pve, no pvp etc. It's just one big sandbox, which is fine and all, but isn't it the developers job to entertain me in the game instead of me having to...
I don't think all girls are worse then male gamers, as I've played with some who are quite good and I've seen top level (e-sports level) female gamers as well.
That said, guys are better at gaming then girls in general. Male gamers probably enjoy competition more and therefore take it more...
I've never seen the huge appeal of GTA anyway.
Yes, killing random people is fun especially if you play the game with cheats, but I tend to just get bored after a few hours and not play again.
The huge price of it + the short battery life on it make it a deal breaker for me. Not to mention their line-up isn't looking that great apart from Layton.
I'll wait patiently for the inevitable better remakes of it, hopefully with longer battery life.
Possibly Nanoha (who is mostly an anime character, but there are a few games in which she appears so it counts right?) where I would ask her to teach me magic and hope she doesn't try to 'befriend' me.
Either that or Mokou, where I would hope she's in a good mood and doesn't think I'm one of...
I bought around 10 games at retail this year I think, maybe a bit more if you count used games. It doesn't compare to the 26 I got digitally, though I blame steam sales for that..
Tough choice between Baldur's Gate 2, Resident Evil 4 and Persona 3.
Since my favorite genre remains JRPG's I guess my nomination is Persona 3: FES (or Persona series in general).
