Damn... this is about Estates!? Now your argument makes more sense! I based my entire post on hatchbacks!
Yeah... fuck estates. Ugly bastards them... I guess they are good if you have large dogs though. The extra length in the back gives dogs more room and you can easily fit a cage at the top...
Clutching at straws slightly with some of these, but I appreciate a good dig when it's due.
The whole ripping on CoD thing though is a little stale now though, right? I mean, people still play it in troves. Not the type of gamers that frequent geeky sites such as ours here, but enough that...
But cult leaders do appear nice... It's a leadership trait shown across a lot of real life ones too. Pastor Jones of the Jonestown Massacre fame was hands down a charismatic leader. The difference between a charismatic leader and a transformational leader is that a charismatic leader uses...
I agree. It means you can't engross yourself in the meta game as easily, as the way you expect your opponents to play, and your team-mates, constantly changes adding an unwelcome randomness to the proceedings. I would much prefer to really learn a game and it's players before an attempt to shake...
They are practical. They are good cars for people that don't do long distances, and they are generally fuel efficient and cheap to run. They are manoeuvrable, which is good for countries that have more interesting road systems that were designed long before vehicles were around, so you can...
Games. I will always choose games. I love how a good game can entertain you for hours and you can engross yourself in its world and story. Or, you can play something with lots of skill to test yourself. Or, you can find something to just drift along to, with pretty visuals and easy gameplay...

EDIT: Turns out I can see it here in the forum, but not in my profile or at the top of the page.
I miss the old days too. Met a load of good people here.
At least we still have the 'Escapism' meets here in the UK. A load of guys from the site, and some who were never members, meeting up twice a year for geeky weekends.
He hasn't been for a while, but Root of all Evil used to come to...
Pyjamas should not be seen any time after breakfast... From that time, and in ones own home, lounge-wear is perfectly acceptable.
And as the garments are interchangeable, and the terms are merely subjective opinion, then it is just how you describe what you are wearing that becomes fact...
Re-editing these movies is basically just like sticking it in the microwave. Yes... it's a quick fix. Yes... it will resemble a final product. But, by hell, you have just taken something and taken all the flavour out of it. It will be as bland and texture-less as a wet piece of bread.
I agree...
This game doesn't get enough love! I thought the art style was great, with the black and white world vs the colour showing which areas of Paris you have unlocked. Yes, it was odd playing as an Irish racing car driver whom happens to also be part of the French resistance, but overlooking that...
I grew up with Harry Potter. I was 9 when the first one came out, and I loved that it was about a kid who was about my age, in my country, who grew up alongside me, albeit somewhat slower. I wasn't so fussed about the films, mostly due to not wanting them to spoil my experiences with the story...
