The last boss you fought in a video game is your new boss at work...

My job would be a ton more interesting and either offbeat or just in a weird time signature that I don't quite understand.

Transgender People and Attraction OR The Inherent Homophobia in Society

The only qualm I think I would have with dating a transgendered person is the high risk of psychological side effects from gender reassignment without therapy (assuming the newly-designated she would refuse to seek it). I would probably equate this to dating a drug addict refusing treatment. If...

    Share an interesting random fact

Then why is my belly button lint always the color of my shirt? It was especially strange when I would pull out green lint accumulated from the uniform of the restaurant where I had worked from 2005-2010. OT: The words silver and purple, while often cited as English words with no perfect...

Those 'What the flying f**k?!' Movies.

I'm pretty surprised that no one has mentioned The Story of Ricky <youtube=Vxd08Sp_FdI> I was also pretty dumbstruck with Aloha, the Little Vampire but it is a kid's movie, and everyone's first hopping vampire story is always a bit awkward. The clip is not so WTF but it's the only one I...

What's the most hipster thing you've done?

I bought a "Welcome Back Kotter" board game.

Is this really what young gamers these days are becoming

I would assume these girls employ the honor system in order to find out whether or not her prospective/actual boyfriend pauses his game to text her back, and any system wherein consideration of marriage may be conducive to putting out sooner is easily corruptible. I'm sure there's some sort...

PS2, we all love it, most of us have one but...

Not much to contribute without being repetitive, but a few of my favorites are killer7, Beyond Good & Evil, Viewtiful Joe, and, despite all the shit I hear flung in its direction, I actually enjoyed Onimusha Warlords for the simple four to six hour experience it provided.

Poll: Corporations are taking over the world!!! Who do you side with?

I would side with the resistance.

Movies you've seen a million times.

On the topic of Comedy Central movies: when I was young, Coming to America was on Comedy Central at least once a week for a number of years, and being bored, I normally caught every showing.

    This Week's Extra Credits :)

The playcount on YouTube breaks when a video gets an overwhelming amount of views; it will be stuck at 302 views for most of the day. That's why it has (at the moment) 1,680 likes and only 302 views. I'm just more concerned about who the 56 people are that disliked the video.

What do you like in film/TV?

I like real people. Less rapid-fire quipping, multi-talented, never-failing super geniuses. More human characters that get it wrong from time-to-time if not most of the time. I like season-long, arching storylines that might just have some sort of mystery that the/a lead character unravels...

Have you ever ran out of gas?

I ran out of gas at 11:30 at night in December in a ridiculous suburb of New Jersey when I was 18. It was absolutely freezing outside, and my girlfriend and I had no coat on since we were kind of depending on the heater to keep us warm. We actually ran out of gas in between an Elk's Lodge and a...

Do you still enjoy anything you liked as a kid?

There's a quote from Ezra Pound that pretty much describes my feeling towards old tastes/favorites: "There is no reason why the same man should like the same book at 18 and at 48." I don't take it to mean that the same thing should not be enjoyable at a later age, just the it would occupy a...

Poll: What birth date do you give when asked on websites?

If I'm signing up for a site (like this one), I'll put my real birth date. In any other case, I can never really trust that a site asking for my birth date will keep it secure or doesn't have ulterior motives. It's overly paranoid, sure, and there are about million other people in the world that...
