Small Soldiers: Squad Commander on the PC. It's what got me from consoles onto computer games. Well that and Roller Coaster Tycoon, but I think that might've been first.
I wonder how it would be now... That's something to try out when I'm bored.
It depends on the games. I recently bought Duke Nukem 3D (before playing the DNF demo and deciding against buying that) and it was awesome. Similarly, when I pull out my SNES and play Super Mario World or Super Metroid, it's still fun. It's all about how they're built that determines whether or...
Glad I bought mine on Steam. But more on topic, this definitely has legal issues. It'd be like if Gamestop removed Online Passes from games and charged separately for them or doing the same thing with parts of a collector's edition.
It may suck to be giving customers to your opponents...

This sounds like EA is basically trying to make Valve look like the bad guy in this when it seems like they're doing all of this for some reason.
I envy you guys some times. =D
I understand that they may be trying to balance out the digital distribution field to allow for more competition, but this all sounds like they're getting sort of some exclusivity deal with Origin. I know they're not moving solely to Origin, but I'd imagine they're getting a deal just for not...
