It depends on the game. I paid full price for most of my games... But now I'm playing the waiting game. When Prototype 2 drops it's price, I may look into it. I'm also hoping to beat Dragon Age: Origins (I'm on my 11th attempt... Not a joke, unfortunately), then pick up that Dragon Age 2...

Good points. Also, he did state that he's not totally deaf, he has lots of trouble hearing... But he can still hear. Depending on the accident, he could get a hearing aid to help him. It's not a totally loss of sensory input.

I'd have to go with being deaf. I would be very sad. :( I'd much rather be blind than deaf, if I had to choose. The world without sound seems... so boring... Of course, if all I had to listen to was Justin Bieber, then I would gouge my ear drums out and then consume them.
