Guns work via explosions. Explosion tend to be a rather messy thing, especially when compared to the slicing of a sword.
Guns also tend to look more bulky. From an aesthetic P.O.V. sword are more elegant (while remaining functional).
Also it may be mainly left over from when guns were a...
"-Tali is genetically male with gender dysphoria and is living a lie with the female suit and fake female voice. This is revealed and he becomes Shepard's same sex romance option."
This would not ruin it for me. In fact this would probably make me fangasm for Bioware.
Actually, if we go with "die hard Doctor fans will defend him [as a good guy]" then I'm going to have to disagree. The first Doctor was almost explicitly a neutral character. So were most of the classic Doctor's - they had a rather ambiguous morality.

Depends on the age of the child - the younger they are the more likely it'd be that I'd have them watch Saw. Because the main reason kids fear things? It's because they see adults acting like they should be afraid.

Kids are less creative because of video games? Stuff that - I have drawn work inspired by games, writing things inspired by games and I love some games so much that I've actually been inspired to try make one myself.
Sill radio woman.
I didn't vote in the poll because it depends on what games were released on it.
I'd LOVE a console without the bells & whistles (the bells & whistles are annoying - how dare they charge me more for them).
But I'm not gonna buy it if I don't like any of the game.
Bisexual chick here!
And had the strangest coming out too... I casually referenced my sexuality to my parents and got "WTF?" looks. :D It made me laugh.
