Arrows have less destructive power than bullets. Arrows usually travel at around 300fps (feet per second) While a standard NATO 5.56mm round will travel at around 2800 FPS. Plus bullets are smaller, and you can carry more of them. As for video games it just makes it more fun.

I honestly don't think destroying nukes/weapons would work. Humanity would just build more when you die. If I did have those powers I'd most definitely go search the universe for other life forms. Now that would be worth it.
