Skipped a fair amount in college, when it was easier in large lectures. It's usually a risk/reward type of thing when you decided to skip - what will you miss vs. what will you do if you don't go?
I'm in DC so it's hard to pick one, but I guess I'd say the Capitol is probably it although the Washington Monument is probably featured on more stuff, the Capitol stands for more.

They are plausible in that you could attach them, but I have no idea why you'd ever want them. A bayonet could work well enough and a whole blade would just make the gun too heavy and dangerous to use.

I vote Moon since it's so much closer to Earth and I could visit assuming space travel was refined at that time to a commuter flight.
