You could do this in Final Fantasy VII at the golden saucer with the arm wrestling game. You just taped down a couple buttons, went to sleep, and woke up with a million credits.

I am a big fan of Final Fantasy Tactics' ending.

I'm assuming we are going with consoles and no PCs cause otherwise I'd pick Starcraft. Best console game though, I don't know. I still to this day go back and play Final Fantasy Tactics and love it just as much now as I did then. So I'll go with that.
