Escape to the Movies: Dhoom 3

So . . . it's a limited release being reviewed 3 weeks late. Which means that even if it was ever shown in Atlanta, it wouldn't still be there by now. I'd now have to drive all the way to Orlando, Florida, assuming the only info I could find on showtimes is accurate. So . . . thanks for getting...

Escape to the Movies: The Watch

Am I the only one who got disappointed when Bob mentioned the new Step-Up movie and then went on to review The Watch anyway? Let's see . . . a boring old samey-same comedy movie, of which we've had a billion this year alone; or a dance movie that, even if not particularly good, is at least...

The Big Picture: Worlds Within Worlds

I immediately thought about how Kathy Griffin is canonically Peter Griffin's cousin on Family Guy. That means Tommy Westphall is responsible for "My Life on the D List." He must be stopped!!!

    Final Fantasy XIII-3

I really enjoyed XIII. It was actually the first one I'd found myself wrapped up in since IX. Now I'm playing XIII-2, and finding it more enjoyable in pretty much every way. I especially love that they dump you right into the game, no tutorials necessary to unlock most of the important features...

    E3 Preview: Beyond: Two Souls

I loved Heavy Rain. I love Ellen Page. I love the concepts of linked souls and modern day seemingly-magical power stuff. As far as I'm concerned, this game can only be a good thing.

Escape to the Movies: Detention & Lockout

This really made me want to see Detention, but I can't find it playing anywhere nearby. I went so far as to do the broadest check I could around Atlanta(which is a good 90 miles from me), and nothing. I also get conflicting data. One article I found says it came out on the 13th, but another...

Tales from the Table: Chapter 17: A Tale of The End

As soon as he donned the golden glove and started attracting the various colored stones, I was all "aha! the Infinity Gauntlet!" . . . and, barring a name change to avoid copyright infringement, I was right! *sniffle* This reminds me of when Marvel used to be good.

Bastion 2 Not Happening Any Time Soon

I wouldn't be so crude, but I share the sentiment. Bastion put some nice cutesy visuals with "the voice," but forgot the most important part -- game play that's not clunky and unresponsive. I can't tell you how many times I pushed the "shield" button and experienced major lag, assuming the...

    Netflix Kills Qwikster

I'm glad they're keeping a single website for everything. I can understand why they might have to split things up on the back end(the business part we don't see), but there was really no reason to split things up on the user end. This keeps everything nicer and easier to use from our side, so...

The Big Picture: Junk Drawer: Reloaded

I seriously doubt the very last point in the video, although I'm keeping my fingers crossed. A Rainbow Brite reboot that somehow doesn't suck would be awesome! I wouldn't mind an updated Jem either, though that would need an even bigger overhaul due to changes in fashion and music. She-Ra would...

No Right Answer: Best Western Film Ever

I thought the first episode was pretty funny. I had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. But this episode -- the moment you guys mentioned Fievel Goes West . . . wow. I loved that movie as a kid, and I just know I'm going to be a fan of this series for a long time to come.

Tales from the Table: Chapter 5: Tale of a Dungeon Master

Yay, I'm loving this series! Also, did anyone else notice the annoying Priest? We now know where he comes from!
