Seriously, though, it's awfully suspicious that their bold vision made "for the right reasons" just happened to serve as DRM, and just happened to include an invaluable data collecting tool for advertisers that couldn't be disconnected (according...
I haven't bought a mainline entry in the series since X-2 (UGH), so skipping XV if it gets bad reviews wouldn't be all that hard for me. I've never been a big fan of the overall franchise to begin with; I've only played X, X-2 and VII, and X is the only one I've finished.
Yeah...I don't have any obligation as a consumer to maintain the $60 price points that publishers want us to buy at so badly. Most of their games simply aren't worth that much--a lesson I've been on the wrong side of too many times to count. I've walked away from plenty of games I've bought at...
It looks interesting, but I worry that they're overselling the whole "Nemesis System" and organic storytelling bits. It sounds too good to be true IMO.
Or even just more actual in-game content--new areas to explore, more tombs, and so forth. Why they say it's worth the purchase for anyone who's played the original already without those things is beyond me. Capcom's rereleases of fighting games offer more value than what they've described so far.
The final fight with the club dude and Mathias in Tomb Raider.
It was a huge comedown after that incredibly badass fight with all the Stormguard at the gate of the palace. After how satisfying the combat has been up to that point, I expected so much more.
I see Naruto and Bleach going to shit as the result of Jump's desperation more than anything.
The magazine never really recovered from the loss of Dragon Ball, and has declined sharply in readership since it's heyday in the 90's. Thus they have to cling desperately to whatever hits they can...
Really glad he called out Knack on the insipid bullshit spouted by Cerny and Sony to cover their asses. That they dared to speak of it in the same terms as the old Spyro games, and had the nerve to use the "kid's game" excuse in the wake of the industry's long history of excellent...
Though Jim Sterling may hate me for it, I'll have to say Dynasty Warriors: Next.
It shamelessly recycles and reuses assets, and it's repetetive mission structure is punctuated by a bunch of forced motion and touch minigames. Yet I've put in more time with that game than any other on the Vita...
From the beginning, Wet looked like a pointless quilt job, with nothing fresh or exciting to offer. The demo confirmed my suspicions.
Anyway, another hilarious review. Kinda hate how Pillock's still working when unemployment is so high. XD
