I third the Lego games. I think Batman made me lol the most. I don't know how they got away with making the female characters make so many innuendos.
And even in Lego Indiana Jones, with heads getting lopped off, it was still happy!
I thought the fourth one was trying to pull a Dan Brown, especially being set in the Vatican/Rome. It had very little impact on me, unlike the first 3 in the series. So much so that I can't remember what happens and can't pass much further comment!
At work (on a uk deli counter)
"You don't sell pies here, do you?"
I hate when the question is an assumption of the answer. I very nearly replied 'Duh yeah!'
It's mostly Xbox at the moment, but it changes constantly. It went from GC to PS2 to Wii to laptop to Xbox over 5 years. DS is just for the bus and holidays.
I too am a Grammar Nazi and shout 'Nein!' *shudder*
I agree. Personally I didn't like it in 3D. There's nothing wrong with a good cartoon point and click. It's games like that that got me into... games.
I will be purchasing the new Broken Sword on DS. I hope it's just as the first Broken Sword, and it doesn't try to be any thing more (and fail...
It's gotta be Hiro or Mika for me. The last few series have gotten confusing and boring, but I'm trying to stick with it.
But then they put it on the same night as 24, and now I have twice the amount of tv to record on a monday.
A good review, well done! I've been a fan of Jack for ages. I can't remember when I started reading, but I've always been hooked. It's good to know that, although I personally consider it a bit of a furry comic, it's reached a wider audience.
I agree, Cage just gets on my nerves. His voice his irritating, a little bit like Lloyd Grossman's. And he can't act. National Treasure would have been even cooler without him.
I got the damn bus, like I do every day. Perhaps I'll work with my laptop unplugged for a while, see what that does...
Who dreamt up this day? Really? Like doing stuff that's green for just one day will make a difference.
Classic FM is playing a lot of Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams at the moment (on the Classical top 10 or something). It goes on for a while, but it's a very pretty tune.
I suppose it's what you define as beautiful. I envisage ladies in big pretty dresses dancing around with lots of birds...
