This is going to suck. I just know it. Nothing I have ever had expectations upon has been worth it as far as games go, so I'm already mourning the death of the franchise.
an amazin race, simply mesmerising. Was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a podium for schumacher but thewin by button makes up for it all, just brilliant.
Okay, so it isn't the actual return of the Cold War, but America and Russia will take to the rugby pitch this Sunday as two 15-men sides battle it out in the final round of the Churchill Cup in England. Both sides have (predictably) lost both of their pool games, setting them up for an epic...
Having gone on Yahtzee's word for once and bought the HD remakes of these games I can confirm that Yahtzee is talking straight out of his arse. For all the praise he gives it, Sands of Time is a HORRIBLY outdated game that has a forgettable story, awful voice acting, dreadful combat and a dated...
Both have their issues. The 360 does have some backwards-compatibility with popular titles like Halo/2 and whatnot, but it isn't even close to 100% (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360 for full list).
The PS3 has a similar situation: it emulates PS2...
That's actually quite useful to be fair. Well at least now we know that such a game is capable of being made without being totally screwed up, since you say that lag is not really an issue, and map problems aren't an issue either.
If MAG manages to keep chucking out DLC and does get the maps...
Meh, release dates WOULD suggest that 360's successor comes next, but I can imagine Nintendo releasing a new console quicker than anticipate after slowly losing all of its core fanbase. They'll probably need a system with stronger GPU and processing power to keep up with competition.
I don't mean work in the functional sense, I'm referring to what the Xbox's achievement system did for Xbox games: does it really motivate YOU to keep on playing games, replay game son higher difficulties, complete certain tasks and all that stuff to get trophies and whatnot to "increase your...
^This^. My big concern is either you make the maps too small in which case it's just a massive clusterfuck, or too big in which case you can't find anyone and it just becomes boring. The creators of games like MAG and Huxley need to be really skilled at make just the right sized maps.
And of...
You know the sort of game I'm talking about: a massive map, loads of players, guns, helicopters, jeeps and tanks. Mayhem ensues. Battlefield practically invented it, many games have copied it (Frontlines is the main culprit here), and now some games are coming out to multiply the mayhem...
Seriously? You're going to argue that point? You seriously need to be shot in the crotch for that kind of uninformed, useless, pathetic argument.
But seriously, the game is only really appealing to me because it's Tim Schaffer and he did Psychonauts. If it wasn't him, I wouldn't be remotely...
