Great choices, and it's nice seeing some recognition for Mean Streets and Casino; those two always seem to get overlooked. Scorsese might actually be my favourite director of all time, he's made some amazing movies.
With the current Xbox I may buy a game and play it and then my 2 brothers will play it. Does this mean that they have to pay when they want to play it? And what about borrowing and renting games? Will I have to pay when I borrow a game from a friend or rent a game from Blockbuster? Your losing...
That's a difficult one :/ I've seen too many movies to narrow it down to just one, but for a TV show I'm probably gonna have to go with LOST -
Or perhaps these lovely people -
Or maybe these chaps -
This topic came about through me watching Highlander with a group of friends. I personally LOVE the film, its got everything; sci-fi, fantasy, sword fighting and Sean Connery. Whats not to love? I admit the sequels were an abomination against mankind but the first Highlander film was great...
I played the Xbox version :) I've read in a few places that there isn't much difference between the console versions but someone on this thread did mention their PS3 version having a few glitches.
Oh, I agree, but for the first half of the game Shaun is the only British point of view, which is a shame. But eventually the game does show the independent side to be not as great as you first thought, but for anyone who doesn't play the game for long (which seems like a lot of people) Shaun is...
He didn't give a balanced point of view but rather he made the game less pro-America. Considering the only other view point in the game was from an american point of view, he was the only one giving a British point of view making the argument slightly more balanced. I do understand that the...
It's not that I believe he is the only balanced point of view, but I think he's the closest thing to one. Which is a bit sad really, as he doesn't make us Brits look all that good but rather he, as you said make the British look like absolute dickbags.
I agree that this is a problem with the game, but I was hooked by it unlike a lot of people. Maybe its because I saw my brother play the later levels so I knew the game would eventually pick up, or maybe its because I was so attracted to the god of a man that is Haytham Kenway. Either way, the...
I like the combat and most of the mini-games, the parkour and tree-running I found to be great fun. I especially thought the voice actors were great. Connor and his mother seem to sound slightly dis-interested 20% of the time but the rest are great. At least they didn't take the Skyrim way of...
Don't get me wrong, its not my game of the year, but I was just pleasantly surprised by the story, game play and depth the game had. But I do completely understand some of the hate though and can see how you think it was boring, but I don't see how many of the problems people have could have...
I've heard a lot of people say this, but each to there own I guess. The first 6 or so hours are definitely too slow, but the game picks up afterwards. I think I like it so much because of the time period, which interests me anyway and the writings great. It also reminds me slightly of Red Dead...
