My favorite CoD game. If someone argued CoD4 to be the best CoD in the series (at least of the IW entries) I wouldn't disagree with them but CoD2 will always be my favorite of the bunch. The spectacle that it brought to the gaming scene at the time (being a launch title with the "next gen")...

I agree with the intro being shaky at best. Definitely one of the weaker, if not the weakest, starts to a Bethesda game (Morrowind's first hour, in spite of peoples' nostalgia for it was pretty rough). The first 3 or so hours of FO4 were really making me worried. It just wasn't clicking for me...

What I mean is a factor that you can't mechanically design in a videogame, at least not with numbers and lines of code. It's just the sense of exploration and "everything is new" the first time you play through a game. It's a lot more prevalent in your gaming life when you are at a young age...

Watching TBFP's playthrough of the game right now on YouTube and I gotta say, I feel a lot more fondly about that game remembering it than I do watching it today. Still a good game though, just not how I remembered it being back when I was... 7? I think. Wow 13 years flies by fast.

Welp, there goes any interest I had. I actually, to my surprise, enjoyed AW (even the multiplayer which is a downright shock) but if the tech isn't moving forward then I'll go back to hibernating on the series.

I know about how good the first season is but I couldn't get into it. I sure as shit will now though.

It will happen... One day... Needless to say I'ma big dumb 2-handed strength main in these games. Except for Bloodborne... I really loved sticking with the faster weapons (Burial Blade might be my favorite weapon in the whole series).

Uh... I don't think there's been a single Miyazaki game that wasn't rushed or left unfinished. Actually I'd argue Bloodborne is, or at least feels pretty complete when compared to the others, especially DaS. At least Dark Souls 2 was more than 60% completed on its release unlike its...

If this is true, AND Miyazaki is involved, he'll probably find a way to fix it. An idea of a final battle with Manus behind the whole thing is a body-tingling idea there....
