I loved Serial, seriously one of the best podcasts around (I'm a law student an a human rights advocate so you can understand why I like it so much) I also like This American Life though I listen to it selectively.
Appart from those two I don't know much about podcasts.

Not really a podcast person, lately I've been listening to the Super Best Friendcast and Podtaku when it wasn't on hiatus

I listen only to Super Best Friendcast by Super Best Friends Play. Why, you ask? Well, because:
- They all have great charisma.
- They have vast knowledge of all things geeky, especially video games (3 out of 4 members of the group at some point were game testers and know how it works from the inside).
- They talk about news that I am interested in but somehow never know about before hearing it from them.
- I just like those guys and their Let's Plays.

Same, been watching them for 3 years now and not about to stop.

The only YouTube/Internet channel I can seriously follow.

EDIT: I also used to listen to the Escapist podcasts WAY back in the day when it first started a la the Steve Butts and Susan Arendt era.

Stopped at around the time Mrs. Arendt left the site. I liked Greg Tito and Justin Clouse enough but that was about the moment I stopped coming to the Escapists regularly, I'll go a few months at a time without visiting since then.

Funhaus' Dude Soup. An hour of guys talking about video games and looking at all sides of the argument and not looking for an echo chamber. They also make a lot of fun out of the games industry and their other contents are full of belly busting laughter.

The Weekly Planet. Do you wanna know more about comic book movies and other related blockbusters discussed by two close mates being all Aussie and funny. Brilliant. Mr Sunday Movies weekly YouTube vids are funny, informative and super comic book nerdy. If there was a strange version of a comic book character in the 80s that no one knew about, they will know. And yes, Mason's a dickhead :D (inside joke).

Only 2 regularly. The Roundtable Podcast with Northernlion, MathasGames, BaerTaffy and RockLeeSmile; and Podquisition with Escapist alumni Jim Sterling and Miracle of Sound, as well as Laura Kate Dale from Destructoid.

Used to watch the Co-optional Podcast, but drifted away when it stopped being weekly (through no fault of their own, obviously) and the Roundtable Podcast replaced it, and honestly I enjoy it more than I ever did the Co-optional one.

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. He is a great storyteller regarding historical events. His series on Ghengis Khan and the one on World War One are amazing! Highly recommended.
I got turned onto that a while back and have to say that if you have any interest in History you should have already been listening to them. His take on the question of nuclear weapons used on Japan provides the larger context of WWII which is hardly ever brought up. And the Khan series was truly awesome.

It's good to have a host that gets excited about history but my only complaint against him is that he starts to get excited and he sounds like Wallace Shawn http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001728/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t5 and I keep expecting him to say 'Inconceivable'. I know it's a weird complaint but I just can't help it.

I listen to loads.
Harmontown, The Bugle, Podquisition, How Did This Get Made, Welcome to Night Vale, Comedy Bang Bang, Improv 4 Humans, Sponteneanation, Hello from the Magic Tavern, The Lrrcast, The Thrilling Adventure Hour, The Worst Idea of All Time, FistShark Marketing, and occasionally WTF.
I tend to listen to them in phases, and depending on what has a new ep out. I basically listen to them any time I'm not doing anything, like in transport, and often when I am doing stuff.
I don't have a problem. *twitches eye*

I don't listen to any bar Thesw1tcher's Super Best Friendcast, and even then very infrequently. Usually if I don't sleep at night but don't want to watch something or while I'm browsing the internet.

It's all about the Super Best Friendcast, those guys are great and deserve to be more than just middle rung Youtube personalities.
I'm glad their popularity has sky rocketed since their early Machinima days though (Been following them since the first Donkey Kong vid they put up). I never thought their own channel would take off, but it has spectacularly. I hope it continues to grow as IMO they are the most fun gaming personalities on Youtube with no real 'gimmicks', like just Minecraft Videos or Pewdiepie screaming.

Not really into them, the ones I would be interested in are almost always kind of long (1+ Hour(s)) and I don't sit about long enough like on public transport doing nothing else to listen to one and listening to them in pieces doesn't really work for me. I would rather sit and watch a documentary, play a game or catch up on several 10-20min tech videos.

While it's great to have a fellow Carlin fan, I am going to have to dock you points because I will now have that image in my head every time Dan excited. XD
Sorry man, I wish I didn't hear it either. Really gets distracting at all the worst times. Got especially bad with the Mongolian ones since it's all about 'land wars in Asia'. I really wish he'd hire a voice actor because the content is top notch even on subjects I've studied extensively.
